Thai oil massage with Kitama Thai Sabai Massage Oil

Thai Sabai: the classic Thai massage oil without fragrance

Kitama Thai Sabai Massage Oil is based on a traditional Thai oil recipe and was developed for everyday use in Thai oil massage. It has the same nourishing base formula as our aroma massage oils – just without perfume. “Sabai” (สบาย) is Thai and means something like “comfortable, relaxed”.

Thai oil massage: High viscosity, very economical and particularly glidable – ideal for long treatments.
Massage & physiotherapy practices: Scent-neutral and therefore suitable for all clients and treatments.
Wellness & spa: Nourishing full-body massages with a pleasantly supple skin feel.

For high-volume users: Thai Sabai is available exclusively in the economical bulk sizes of 5 litres and 10 litres.

Skin care with jojoba oil and almond oil in Kitama Thai Sabai Massage Oil

Jojoba oil & almond oil: nourishing and very economical

Thai Sabai combines the long glide of paraffin oil with nourishing plant oils. During the massage the skin is supplied with vitamins and nutrients and feels supple afterwards – with very economical consumption.

Jojoba oil: Actually a liquid plant wax that closely resembles the skin’s own sebum – absorbs well without leaving a greasy film.
Almond oil: The skin-care classic – rich in unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E, leaves the skin soft and supple.
Sunflower oil: A light plant oil with linoleic acid that complements the care effect.
Paraffinum Liquidum: Ensures an even, long glide – less re-applying during the treatment.

Scent-neutral & versatile

No perfume

Thai Sabai contains no fragrance and is largely odourless – ideal for clients who prefer no scent and for treatment rooms with several applications.

Ideal for herbal compresses

When massaging with Thai herbal compresses, the scent of the herbs comes through particularly well because the oil itself is unscented.

Base for your own scents

You can blend Thai Sabai with perfume oils without declarable allergens (max. 0.2–0.4 %) or pure essential oils to create your own signature scent.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between Thai Sabai and Neutral Massage Oil?

Neutral Massage Oil consists of 100 % paraffin oil. Thai Sabai additionally contains the nourishing plant oils almond, sunflower and jojoba oil, making it more caring for the skin. If you are looking for a pure paraffin oil without any plant oils, choose the Neutral Massage Oil.

Is Thai Sabai the same oil as the aroma massage oils?

Yes, Thai Sabai has the same base formula as our aroma massage oils – just without perfume. Glide and skin feel are therefore identical, so you can offer unscented and scented treatments with the same oil feel.

Can I add my own scent to Thai Sabai?

Yes. As a scent-neutral base oil, Thai Sabai is suitable for your own blends with perfume oils without declarable allergens (recommended concentration max. 0.2–0.4 %) or pure essential oils. Prepare blends as fresh as possible.

In which sizes is Thai Sabai available?

Thai Sabai is available in a 5-litre and a 10-litre canister – ideal for studios with high consumption. For clean refilling into dispenser bottles we recommend a canister pump from our accessories.

Which massages is Thai Sabai suitable for?

Thai Sabai is suitable for all oil massages – especially Thai oil massage, massage with Thai herbal compresses and classic full-body massages. Thanks to its high viscosity and long glide it is ideal for extended treatments where the oil should not have to be re-applied constantly.

How should towels with Thai Sabai residue be washed?

As Thai Sabai contains paraffin oil and plant oils, both washing recommendations apply: pre-wash at 30–40 °C, main wash at 60 °C with heavy-duty detergent and safe drying with a complete cool-down phase. More in our laundry guide for massage studios.
