The base formula of all Kitama aroma massage oils combines a long-lasting glide with nourishing plant oils. The skin stays supple during the massage and feels cared for afterwards.

Jojoba oil: Actually a liquid plant wax that closely resembles the skin’s own sebum – absorbs well without leaving a greasy film.
Almond oil: The skin-care classic – rich in unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E, leaves the skin soft and supple.
Sunflower oil: A light plant oil with linoleic acid that complements the care effect.
Paraffinum Liquidum: Ensures an even, long glide – less re-applying during the treatment.

Thai jasmine (มะลิ, “Mali”): authentic & natural

Hardly any scent is as closely linked to Thailand as jasmine. In Thai, the small white flowers are called “Mali” – their buds are woven into the well-known flower garlands (Phuang Malai) found at temples, at spirit houses and as a welcome gift. Jasmine is also the symbol of Thai Mother’s Day and gave the famous jasmine rice Khao Hom Mali its name.

We chose our jasmine scent to be particularly authentic and natural: white-floral, warm and delicately sweet – like an evening stroll through a Thai flower garden. The scent fills the room without being intrusive and creates a calm, relaxed atmosphere.

Can I use the Jasmine Massage Oil straight away or do I have to mix it?

It is ready to use. Kitama Jasmine Massage Oil is a complete scented massage oil – not a fragrance concentrate for blending. You can use it directly for Thai aroma oil massage.

Do all Kitama aroma massage oils have the same formula?

Yes. All Kitama scented massage oils are based on the same formula of paraffinum liquidum, sunflower oil, almond oil and jojoba oil – only the scent differs. Glide and skin feel are therefore the same for every scent.

Is the Jasmine Massage Oil suitable for sensitive skin?

Dermatest rated its skin compatibility “sehr gut” (excellent) in a patch test. As the oil contains fragrance substances (including linalool, geraniol and citronellol), we recommend our fragrance-free Neutral Massage Oil for clients with a known fragrance allergy.

Where is Kitama massage oil made?

All Kitama massage oils are made in Germany. The scents have been deliberately chosen to be particularly authentically Thai.

What should I consider for clients with a nut allergy?

The oil contains refined almond oil. Ask your clients about known allergies before the treatment and, in case of a nut allergy, switch to an oil without almond oil, for example the Neutral Massage Oil.

How should towels with aroma massage oil residue be washed?

As the oil contains plant oils, laundry should be washed thoroughly at 60 °C to 90 °C with a powerful heavy-duty detergent, with a grease remover if necessary. Plant oils that have not been fully washed out can pose a risk of spontaneous combustion in a hot tumble dryer. More in our laundry guide for massage practices.
