Optimize your massage salon with the professional Thai massage mattress by Kitama, the centerpiece for traditional bodywork. This mat was specifically developed for the high demands of Thai massage studios, physiotherapy practices, and Thai spas that value durability, hygiene, and outstanding client comfort. It is the ideal solution for traditional floor work and can also be perfectly integrated as a custom-fit lay-in mattress into wooden massage table frames.
The Kitama massage mat provides the ideal foundation for authentic, floor-level treatments. Thanks to optimized pressure distribution and the precise fit of the face cutout, your clients enjoy maximum relaxation comfort throughout the entire therapy session.
Combine traditional Thai healing arts with modern, ergonomic design in your studio.
The core of this massage mat is a 6.5 cm thick core made of particularly robust, high-density composite foam. This corresponds to an extremely firm hardness rating (H5).
This extraordinary firmness is essential for authentic traditional Thai massage to stably support techniques such as stretching, pressure points, as well as the therapist's knee and foot application without the client sinking in uncomfortably. The total height of approx. 7.0 cm offers the ideal balance between firm support and pleasant cushioning.
Whether you perform floor-level bodywork or prefer treatments on an elevated massage table – the Kitama mattress flexibly adapts to your studio workflow.
Thanks to its right-angled and dimensionally accurate shape, it serves as a supportive lay-in mattress for wooden frames while offering full stability directly on parquet or tile floors.
Our professional mattresses are shipped rolled up to save space and provide you with particularly affordable shipping. Please unpack the mattress as soon as possible after delivery. Transport – especially in cold temperatures – may cause the filling material to temporarily contract, making the mattress appear slightly shortened upon unpacking. Give the material a little time to acclimatize. Full size and optimal firmness are usually restored through initial regular use.
Yes, absolutely. The high-density composite foam used corresponds to an extra firm hardness rating (H5). It prevents pressing through under concentrated elbow or knee pressure and provides the necessary stability for stretching and acupressure techniques in continuous commercial use, regardless of whether the mattress lies on the floor or in a frame.
Yes, this mattress was explicitly designed to also serve as an ideal lay-in mattress for stationary wooden frames that feature a corresponding integrated recess. Make sure to select the mattress width (80, 100, or 120 cm) matching the inner width of your frame to ensure a perfect, flush fit.Are you looking for a replacement mattress for wooden frames without a fixed recess that is screwed directly onto the frame from below instead? In that case, we carry our replacement mattress with an integrated multiplex base board in our product range. You can find it here: Replacement Mattress for Massage Tables with Multiplex Board.
Yes, it is the ideal floor mattress for traditional, floor-level Thai massages. Thanks to the H5 firmness and 7 cm height, it offers exactly the stability required for authentic treatments on the floor while keeping the client comfortably cushioned.
Yes, a custom-fit pillow with a synthetic leather cover is included in the scope of delivery. This allows you to close the face hole flush when it is not needed for supine treatments, creating a continuous lying surface.
The synthetic leather cover is oil- and water-repellent. It can easily be cleaned and disinfected hygienically after treatments using a damp cloth and mild, alcohol-free cleaning agents or suitable surface disinfectants.
