With the purchase of this licence you are allowed to use the music material provided by Green Music Thailand commercially for 12 months. Can I play music tracks from Green Music Co. Ltd. in my shop without a licence?
If you already own CDs from Green Music Co. Ltd. and use them as background music in your shop, you are obliged to purchase the corresponding licence. Accordingly, the use of already existing pieces of music from Green Music Co. Ltd. for commercial purposes is only permitted with a valid licence. This can only be obtained from Green Music Co. Ltd. and its authorised partners. For Germany this is Thai Five GmbH. As an authorised partner of Green Music Co. Ltd. Thai Five GmbH must ensure that this licensing obligation is complied with by customers in Germany.
What are the consequences of commercial use of Green Music Thailand without a valid licence?
As soon as you use music material from Green Music as background music in your business, a valid licence is required. If you do not have a valid licence, then this is a criminal offence. By doing so you are violating the copyright of Green Music Co Ltd Thailand. This offence is punishable by a fine. Thai Five GmbH as the official agent of Green Music Co. Ltd. has committed itself to unannounced inspections throughout Germany.
