The core of the load-bearing frame consists of heavy-duty legs made from laminated American White Oak (Quercus Alba). Unlike conventional massage tables made of soft pine wood, glued oak timber stands out due to its superior density and hardness.
Laminated oak strips reliably prevent warping or cracking caused by fluctuating humidity. We intentionally avoid pressure-sensitive pine wood. The robust white oak frame is designed for a weight capacity of up to 300 kg – ideal for leverage-intensive treatments.
The treatment table features an approx. 4.5 cm thick padding with an extra firm H5 hardness rating. This high firmness level is indispensable for traditional Thai massage (Nuad): It prevents sinking under concentrated pressure from elbows, knees, or heels and offers therapists stable, controlled resistance during stretching techniques.
The high-grade brown synthetic leather cover is liquid-repellent, resistant to massage oils, and easy to wipe clean hygienically. The integrated face hole with a matching insert pillow enables clients to lie comfortably and breathe freely in the prone position while keeping the spine straight.

Our Kitama massage table is manufactured by a specialized master carpentry factory with nearly 30 years of experience producing high-end spa furniture. Unlike DIY tables made of cheap pine or particle board, we use solid laminated oak and warp-resistant multiplex. Furthermore, we ship our tables disassembled in secure packaging, completely eliminating transit problems through narrow doors or stairwells.
Laminated American White Oak is significantly harder, stronger, and more dimensionally stable than single-piece pine. Pine wood is soft, prone to denting, and easily warps or cracks under changing humidity levels. Laminated oak guarantees a warp-free, extremely durable foundation for daily commercial use.
For classical oil and physiotherapy treatments, an 80 cm width is ideal, allowing therapists to work close to the client. For traditional Thai massage (Nuad), we recommend 100 cm or 120 cm, giving practitioners ample space to kneel on the table during treatment.
The standard working height is 65 cm (measured from floor to top of mattress), offering optimal ergonomics for leverage-intensive Thai massage techniques. If needed, the working height can be raised to 75 cm using our optional wooden riser adapters.
Yes, the upholstery is made of durable, liquid-repellent synthetic leather. It is easily cleaned using warm water, mild detergent, or alcohol-free surface disinfectants designed for faux leather. To ensure long service life, regularly clean off oil residues.
Thanks to its load-bearing American White Oak frame, the massage table is engineered for loads of up to 300 kg. It easily accommodates heavy clients and intense treatments where practitioners apply additional body weight.
With every order, you receive a free matching fitted sheet with face hole as well as a 10-liter canister of Kitama Neutral Massage Oil. A matching cushion to close the face hole is also included in the package.
